April Favourites 2017

I can’t believe it’s already the end of April. This month went by so fast ! I thought I’d share with you some of the things I’ve loved the most throughout the most. Unfortunately, I haven’t been wearing makeup much (I don’t usually wear makeup when I have exams and let’s just say I’ve had exams all months haha) so there won’t be a beauty part in the blogpost but don’t worry, I have a few other things to talk about 😉

MUSICMusic

Cheat Codes ft Demi Lovato – No Promises

This song has been stuck in my head for weeks now. Such a fun song to listen to when you’re in a good mood and just want to dance around your room ! I feel like it’s gonna be one of the songs I’m going to listen to the most this summer !

Selena Gomez – Only You

The whole 13RW soundtrack is absolutely amazing but this one is probably y favourite – it just suits the show so much ! Selena’s voice is so relaxing I swear I could fall asleep just by listening to it.

The Moana Soundtrack

Alright, I’ll talk about the movie later in the post but I felt like the soundtrack deserved its recognition. I am absolutely obsessed with it ! All the songs have been stuck in my head and I’m not complaining ! But then again, I love all Disney soundtrack so it doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone haha

TV SHOWS

Tv shows favourites

Thirteen Reasons Why

Everyone has heard about Thirteen Reasons Why but I couldn’t not mention it. I read the book years ago and it’s been one of my favourites ever since. I had been waiting for the adaptation for so long but was nervous when it came out because I didn’t want to be disappointed. It’s been weeks since I finished it and I’m still broken by it. I can’t even begin to tell you how important this show is to me ! Definitely became one of my favourites.

Revenge

I first began to watch Revenge years ago but it took me a while to finish it just because I suck at keeping up at shows and take 6 months breaks at the middle of a season haha. I loved how original this show was compared to most shows. I’ve always been interested in books/movies/shows around the subject of revenge so it was perfect to me haha.

Broadchurch

The last season of Broadchurch finished airing and I still can’t believe it’s over for good. To be honest, I like crime shows but tend to get quite bored with them. I didn’t get bored with this one, that’s for sure. I  love how different the three crimes were (one per season) so it didn’t feel repetitive. Also I liked the way they showed the impact of the crimes on the town, that even years later you could still feel the loss. The way the show is shot is also so amazing I can’t get over it !

MOVIES

Movies favourites

Rogue One

My brother bought the Rogue One DVD a few weeks ago and since I hadn’t seen it (my brother and my dad went to see it on Christmas Day, whilst I was working) I was really excited to finally get to. I knew nothing about the movie except for when it took place, so it was a total surprise to me. I don’t want to spoil it to anyone but boy I wasn’t expecting to cry this much near the end haha

Moana

I watched Moana last night. I’ve been wanting to for months now but every time I was looking for a movie to watch, I just forgot about this one. I watched it with my entire family and we all loved it. It was absolutely beautiful in every way, and very different from other Disney movies. I just wish we could’ve seen more of the pig.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

I know, I’m late to this one as well, what a shame. My cousins came for Easter and since we’re all such fans of the Harry Potter universe, we decided to watch it together. I loved absolutely everything about it. I just thought it was funny how Newt was a Hufflepuff raising magical creatures because every one knows that’s what I would’ve done too. I guess it’s a Hufflepuff thing 😉 I can’t wait for the next movie !

BOOKS

Books favourites

E. Lockhart – We Were Liars

This book was one my list of books to read for quite a while now, so when I went to WHSmith and saw it, I immediatly grabbed it. I didn’t know anything about the book. I actually have so much to say about it, I’m thinking about dedicating a whole post just about it so the only thing I’ll tell you about it is  : WHAT A PLOT TWIST !

HIGHLIGHT OF THE MONTH

My favourite part of the month was definitely going to England to see my family and celebrate my little cousin’s birthday. I miss them so much and England has always felt like home to me ♥
